Just watched an online panel with the creator @emilybrundige.bsky.social over the weekend and immediately fell in love with these cute and silly characters! If you can, please send some cash to the kickstarter!
A buffalo bottle with a ferric chloride finish from round 2 of raku class!

Yet another cave painting pony inspired piece from raku round 2. I am SO HAPPY with this one!

A fanciful handbuilt creature from round 2 of raku! I started making them with no solid plan and really like where the creative spirits moved me. I'm also very happy with the range of colors that came out in the firing! 🌈✨️

Local Rec Centers might be a fun in person option. The center I take pottery at has a mah jong club too that does beginner sessions. I haven't tried it before but it seems very tac-tile-ly pleasing. 😁
Purr-lez-Mew Français!
Chuck Jones was born in Spokane. I like to think that might have something to do with the mentions of Walla Walla Washington in Looney Tunes but am unsure.
No, in fact I think ot adds a fun air of mystery!
likewise! 🫂
Definitely thought this was a job listing for a position of "Frame Boy" at first xD
Part 3 of the work from my raku class. A wormy demon inspired by Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke. He is underglazed with clear crackle and a copper wash for iridescence. I've been working on this one for a long while and am pretty happy with the results!
Part 2 of the work from my raku class. A little crow with underglaze, clear crackle, and copper wash. A quail with underglaze, clear crackle, copper red, and Ron's turquoise. I still need to make the quail a little head doodle.
Part 1 of the work from my raku class. A saggar fired pot and a little horse hair bottle with cave painting style ponies painted in underglaze.
Oh man! I forgot about Cobra Starship, I gotta give them a re-listen soon.
Congrats on the Snorlax Snore Slacks! 👖💤
Another of my favorites from my last wheel class! This one is a gift for my grandma who loves flowers 💖🌸💖 I'm really happy with how they turned out. 🥰
I'm really happy with the shape I got on this bowl. The walls are pretty even and thin and the foot turned out nice too! I also like how the glaze looks, especially the light blue over the dark.
A Jack Skellington cup I made in my most recent wheel class. I like how the glaze striping turned out. It might be fun to do a whole cup of just stripes sometime!
Gotta pull yourself up by your zap straps! ⚡️🔌
Yes!!! When they venture out of the UK flavor zones, the contestants take a big risk. Also, that one episode a few seasons ago, they made "s'mores" was so painful to watch! 😭
Look who I finally glazed and glued back together after all this time! 😈💖
I watched the first ep today and was also SO relieved when I got several genuine chuckles! 💖🥹
I tried thinking of what it could mean, and my brain gave me this: Old McData had a farm, Ai-Ai-Ohno! Which is not an answer per se, but is at least better than what Chat GPT would come up with. 🤘😎
Happy is one of the lesser celebrated dwarves. Glad he is getting his moment.
I'm not a writer, but I would suggest remembering that Stephen King has made some absolutely wild dialog choices (maybe it was the cocaine?) and is still a very successful published author.
Here is a better look at the cave horses! 🐎 and shiny inscense plate.✨️
I'm flying high on the final results of my raku pottery class!!! ❤️🔥 I got some really good reduction on a few pieces and the saggar plate with the cave painting horses turned out so cool and mysterious. Different than I expected but a happy surprise!
OMG I can't wait so see it's evolution! 💖
Oh my gawd! Me too she is so inspiring. A true artist and leader! 🥹💖
