Just to be a bit of a wet blanket, the study included 16 patients. The treatment stimulated an anticancer immune response in 8 of the 16. Of those, 7 were alive at the 6-year mark, for a 44% success rate. (The other 8 did not fare well.) BUT: That is far better than the 13% for standard of care.
