The painting in this image shows a scene in England sometime between 1658 and 1663 when John Milton composed his poem in his head. The poet is shown wearing black and white clothes and sitting in an armchair on the left at a table covered with a tapestry tablecloth. He is painted with an inward gaze because he is blind and deep in concentration. His three daughters are listening intently as they do their work. One daughter is leaning forward to catch her father’s every word as she writes down his words into a manuscript.

It turns out that these leaves aren't going to work. I have to go with another shape. I have an idea.

(These will be used on another piece.)

See, I don't have a facebook account, but Marketplace is useful.

In other words, it's not that great at mining marketplace. That would have been great. It was okay at skimming through regular account postings for notices and alerted me that it was an image file since it couldn't process the info in the image.

I feel dirty. I found a use for AI. I used the Google AI to mine FB marketplace ~shiver~ for stained glass places that sell their scrap. Very limited useful returns. I got it to retrieve a FB image notice from a place that only posts their scrap days there. Better.

I can't wait to see the piece on the postcard in person! I am curious about what it's made out of and how big it is. Love it!

This painting sets the viewer on the shore of a placid lake surrounded by the walls of a dreamlike canyon or grotto. The lake doesn’t reflect light. Instead it displays the crevices of the drowned cavern below. The color of this work is predominantly in shades of green. The canyon walls are encrusted with biomorphic and eye-like forms. A mysterious chimerical creature with a lion’s body and woman’s face is on the shore of the lake to challenge us with riddles. The sky above the canyon is half fair, half storm clouds.

The image is an approximately life-size portrait of a boy wearing a blue satin suit with matching cape, white hose, and leather shoes with large blue bows. The young man looks directly at the viewer with his left hand perched on his hip with the elbow out. His right arm is at his side with a large hat with a giant feather at knee level. The background is a romantic landscape with a dramatically lit sky.

The image shows a vertical tapestry with a white unicorn in an enclosure and chained to a pomegranate tree in a lush garden. The garden is highly detailed with lovely flowers that symbolized marriage, loyalty, and fecundity to medieval viewers.

I feel like I'm getting close to finished on a commission. I am doing something architecturally fragile on the outside and I'm not sure it is going to hold. But, that's what she requested so, we'll see. I need to cut those glass pieces today, then grind them smooth, and seal the edges.

The image shows a large bronze abstract sculpture on a low base on a manicured lawn surrounded by trees. The sculpture is a slightly twisted oval torus with sculpted ridges. Two conical protrusions extend from the center on either side until their points nearly touch in the center. The negative space formed is roughly the shape of the number 8.

The image shows an oversized clinical-looking medicine cabinet with transparent glass sliding doors and many shelves. On the shelves are an assortment of pills lined up in rows on the shelves. Each shelf could be a timeline that measures out life-extending medication for an aging or very sick person.

The image matches the title except the younger child on the left is petting a fluffy dog as he gazes at his big brother wearing his formal tartan. The older child sits on a boulder with a dead pheasant resting on the ground. The moors are mostly rocky outcroppings.
