Watched FCIOM final game of the season end in 4-2 defeat to Padiham, who go on to contest the #nwcfl Play Offs.

Then a bus & train to #Manchester to see #James in concert at the #CoOp arena. Very mellow.

I thought of you yesterday.

The game felt very much like the Q/F.

Decent away following in crowd of 400 ish, away tram better all round, but crucially took most of their chances.

Wests would have been more than a match for Stoneham.

⚽️ One of the best EFL away days.
And that’s down to the people.

On the pitch mullered by the Baggies @westbrom 0-3.

But its the people that soften the blow … 👌

Tbh I was chuntering to myself all the way back to Temple Meads ‘how did they lose that’.
At no point did I think it’d happen til Jordans shot hit inside of post rolled along line & out. Despite in control 1-0 is a dangerous score to ‘defend’
I think Hallen would be mid/lower NWCFL Premier

Hallen now 2 games away from Wembley.

⚽️ the most one sided Vase game I’ve seen.

West Didsbury were stronger, quicker, had more tactical nouse then their opponents Hallen, who stubbornly defended for their lives.

And as the game was almost done a fumbled free kick saw Hallen equalise.

Then the heartbreak of penalties.

FCIOM postponed so went to West Didsbury v Winsford in the FA Vase. 4-1 home win.

⚽️ Countrywide torrential rain, but somehow Bilston v Droylsden in the FA Vase survived. Away team better all game on a mud bath & won 2-0, but main action were the punch ups post match (players, parents, coaches) shown all over social media 🥊😳🤯

Yeah I agree Andy. The only thing I’d say in FC’s defence is they were short of a lot of players last night. Thought Wests probably had another gear to step up, if it came to it.Good luck for the rest of the season incl the Vase. Winsford looked strong against S Liv

If PNE last night is a fave league ground, Wests is one of the best non league set ups. Good strong team anarl …

⚽️ little trip over to Deepdale last night. Such a historic ground, easily one of my faves.

And capped off a find night as the Tigers 🐅 were well worth the victory … could have been more.
