Just let this sink in

In 2016 Vote Leave marginally won

The UK gov knew of Russian interference to deliver Brexit

And despite that, May, Johnson, Truss, Sunak, and now Starmer have chosen to do what Putin wants- weaken Europe- instead of protect our democracy from Putin

Shameful

The BBC are not hiding it any more.

Yesterday they suggested bad economic news would put the Chancellor under pressure.

Today, the news was more positive...so the BBC have come out with 2 stories personally attack the Chancellor.

Why don't they like successful, powerful and competent women?

With her final flourish,
Badenoch brought up the case of John Tuckett, the government's preferred candidate for a new role of chief inspector of borders, but who, she said, "lives in Finland and wants to work from home. This is not serious."
Starmer rose again. Human
rights lawyers aren't a natural fit for acts of wanton cruelty, but what choice did he have? "The individual in question was appointed in 2019 by the last government to a senior position," he said. "He then worked for five years from Finland. We've changed that and he will now be working from the UK full time." Badenoch sunk further into her seat. In boxing, this would have been stopped in round one. At least in politics you don't have to wait long for a rematch.

The Boriswave may destroy the Tories Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal unleashed a surge of immigration mostly from outside the EU. This was a gift to Nigel Farage

"The so-called 'Boriswave' is the surge in immigration (mostly from outside the EU) that has been unleashed as part of Boris Johnson's Brexit deal. This led to net migration rising from 184,000 in 2019 to a staggering and unprecedented 906,000 in 2023."

I hope someone looks into slimy Chris Masons career, just as he and his colleagues at the BBC. have done with Rachel Reeves.
If you look hard enough, you will find similar "errors" on most peoples CV's, his included.
He belongs in a gossip mag, rather than being the BBC Political Editor.

As Labour touts more brutal cuts to benefits, how is this different from life under the Tories? | Frances Ryan There may be no nasty impulse to punish ‘skivers’, but the end result – those who need help most hit hardest – is exactly the same, says columnist Frances Ryan

“That a Labour government is seemingly willing to sacrifice poor and disabled people’s benefits in order to protect the wealthy and healthy from paying a bit more tax feels at best perverse and, at worst, a betrayal.”

Brexit harms the British people. It means living standards held back, higher taxes, reduced welfare spending, crippled government services, and a lower budget for the NHS. Rejoining the EU is not something to be postponed to an indefinite future. Every day of Brexit means more damage.

Extraordinary experience. Disturb three people riffling through bags unlikely to be their own on the edge of a local park. They pedal away. We pack all the stuff we can see & carry the 4 bags to our magnificent local (Black Dog, Brentford). We all post about it. Victim arrives 40 minutes later.

My father in law was one of 9 children. At this time of year my wife writes Xmas cards to people I've never met in the 43 years I've known her.
This afternoon will feature, lots of "You know Trevor and Maureen, Maureen is the daughter of Eric and Connie"
I don't know any of them.
