Looking for tips from all you lovely people on how to manage anxiety. I'm a teacher and have found my anxiety issues have spiked this term. I would welcome some tips and ideas for managing this. ๐Ÿ™ Thank you.

As those of us who work in education head back to work, I'm interested to hear the little things you do to keep your mental wellbeing high - like a daily walk for example. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐ

I need to look both of these up. I love "Supermarket Zoopermarket" - we have such fun trying to guess the puns! Also "You're Called What?!" always makes the children laugh!

I agree, I always say, "Yes it's amazing. Go back to uni and then come join us!" It's too complicated a job to explain how exhausting it is to those who don't do it.

For Y1 we use Last stop on Market Street (link it to our local area in Geography), Pirate Mums, Little Red and the Very Hungry Lion, Clean Up! and A Superhero like you.

We use it whole school -our SENDCO has done amazing work making sure we are all trained and there are lots of resources for the children. It's had a positive impact with emotional literacy and helping children in the red zone to self or co regulate.

The challenge is to choose 20 books that greatly influenced you. One book per day, for 20 days. No explanations, no reviews, just covers. #BookSky ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ“š #Books #BookChallenge

@mrmict.bsky.social has lots of examples of effective task design. I agree - so easy to get stuck in a rut!

I'm teaching Y2 next year for the first time (eekk - exciting!) Our first topic is about the UK capital cities. Can anyone recommend any great books set in these capital cities to read at storytime please? #EduPrimary #EduSkyPrimary

I read Boy, Everywhere by the same author and thought it was a modern classic. She is such a powerful writer.

In Year 1 we've loved Clean Up! and Last Stop on Market Street. Omar and the Bees is lovely too. We finished the year with A Superhero Like You.
