and to be clear, as a Canadian living in Japan, I'm no longer part of the US but the nonsense about "51st state" vis a vis Canada is absurd at so many levels but at least it should be considered a bunch of states not one

to be clear I don't know enough about Puerto Rico but I think places should be able to determine whatever wants as being stuck in the half and half out seems awkward. I've lived in Guam and visited Northern Mariana Islands and there's mixed feelings. Yet no real Congressional representation is bad

but DC can't become a state. It's constitutionally unable to unless the rest of DC city attempted to merge with Maryland who doesn't want it but the DC core would remain own entity with its own electoral college votes with only a couple "official residents"

see the thing is it wouldn't be the 51st state it would be states 51-64 or something like that (anything w/ population close to Wyoming would merit being a state) + Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Northern Marianas should all be states

thanks for Fritz, I deal with a chronic and complex illness called #MECFS there's no real "cure cure" but I'm doing a load of different treatments to refine body in many ways to help ease into some kind of remission. Better than I was five years or 13 years ago but each day is tough. Thank you again

It was a great feeling bringing such positive vibes and fun experiences to the neighborhood… The community association chief already has big schemes and dreams in mind for next year (he better be ready to do some of the work this time though :-))

Good thing about being Santa is I buy whatever present I want… In this case was a vintage refurbished Sony sports cassette Walkman with auto reverse just like 20-year-old me really wanted
