I never thought I'd say these words, but I kind of like email again.
One reason I've been using Apple Mail for so long is that it's so user-unfriendly, it makes you get in and out as quick as possible.
Damn you MailMaven. You need to suck a little more.

One of my greatest living Englishmen. 30 years since he stormed the Brits stage in protest at Michael Jackson - iconic!
Peek behind the scenes. Today, I've started recording my video on MailMaven. Seem to be discovering more every time I finish a section. This is going to be long going! (This is like the Bloom one - enjoying the app too much).
Every week in my newsletter, I share a Quick Tip. A recent one has been absolutely revolutionary for me. Command and backtick to scroll through open windows in your current app. As someone who has multiple Numbers and ScreenFlow files open all day, it's killer. Wish I knew it earlier.
In a Teams meeting with some non-Apple people and heard iOS pronounced eye-oss.
I'm still twitching. A long time since I've heard that.
Working with Claude Cowork to restructure how I track shows, show topics in Obsidian and link things nicely together. I'm pretty certain it's going to throw some expletives my way soon and tell me to do it myself if I think I can do better (I can't…)
Lots of fun. Nearly there though.
Using Claude Coworker to help rebuild my Obisidian infrastructure is blowing my mind with the time it's saving. And asking it to explain everything it's doing for me is educating me too. So very impressed
So weird on my home network. Live in the UK, but I can only access my Netflix UK content/continue watching lists if I VPN in from the UK
Head scratcher
This video captures my thinking currently on Obsidian and Claude Cowork - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6YTk0C5pBY
A very poor phishing email that doesn’t look like it could be from Apple in any way, shape or form.
Sometimes I worry that phishing attempts are getting a lot cleverer - and then I see a few instances like this appear, and I feel a touch more at ease.
Took the good lady to the Banksy Limitless experience in London today. Just wow. Recommend it so much. How I didn't realise he designed the cover of one of my favourite albums I'll never know
Wow, on the Pro plan for Claude and hit my session limit for the first time ever. Don't tell me I need Max after all…
Yep - Claude Cowork does indeed seem quite handy. Trying to work out how best to implement which seems to be a question I've been asking of every service that's come out in the last twelve months. Overwhelm coming? Hopefully not. Definitely lots of overlap though
Apps that have been on my radar recently include ExtraBar and Updatest - these really remind me there's an amazing indie development world out there that needs supporting.
I can actually see a point in the future where we are not dedicated to one browser. In fact, I think that future is currently my present. Researching these browsers for SCO has been so eye-opening.
You should feel proud Bonni, it's totally allowed. Keeping to the schedule and ensuring listeners know when content is dropping shows incredible respect for them as it's not always easy to do.
So here's me. Was using Arc as my browser, and moved to Dia. Last week, I recorded a video on Orion, by Kagi. Thought it was great. Currently playing with Comet by Perplexity for another video, and find myself wanting to switch to that.

I'm so happy about how well this works!

Kind of regretting this video I'm doing on Orion. Not because it's a bad app. It's great. I just seemed to get carried away with the amount of stuff I recorded and editing is taking an age!
Nearly 50 years old and only just realised ABBA's Christmas song is called "Happy New Year" and not "Having You Here". Such a fool
We're right there with you sadly at ScreenCastsONLINE - hopefully not too long!
And....looks like we're back. So if you are having difficulty accessing ScreenCastsONLINE, a litCloudflarece with a few retries may be needed as things equalise. That does not seem to have been a good Maintenance Window for Cloudflare sadly.
For members unable to access the site - please note there is a global outage on CloudFlare, which we use to protect the site. Waiting on updates from them....
I thought it would be a bad day when I started my coffee machine without a mug under it. It didn't get much better sadly. Here's to tomorrow.
Code Master bring me so many happy memories. This is wonderful. Dizzy for the win thecodemastersarchive.co.uk/playonline/
We’re glad you see our videos as a treat!
All this time, I've been bemoaning the fact I can't have local links in Notion. Today, I realised that copying links as Universal Links with Hookmark, allows you to paste them into Notion - and they work!
Workflow - revolutionised.
Been using the Vision Pro for working at home for a few days now to force the habit, with Mac Virtual Display, to see if repetition helps. I'm at a stage where it feels - natural - now to use it. Built some nice workflows for window sizing, widgets. Next stop - can I edit videos effectively….
For the contract I'm on, I thought I'd work with the tools they use so running a small project with OneNote as my note system, and Copilot alongside. Far better than I was expecting. OneNote has grown well
It may not get a lot of love but using the Games app yesterday gave me a great experience. Going through the Library, showed me all games I've ever played and alerted me to some classics that I never finished. I mean Space Age here is a gem and still available apps.apple.com/gb/app/space-a...
