These 350,000 will immediately be described as "illegal" by the administration — among other inevitable false descriptors.

Trump wants you to fear what can happen to you if you resist. But you should really be fearing what will happen to you, and your loved ones, and your country if you don’t resist.

Did you vote for President Trump? I want you to have healthcare, housing, and living wages.

Did you vote for VP Harris? I want you to have healthcare, housing, and living wages.

Did you vote third party? I want you to have healthcare, housing, and living wages.

All means all.

You didn’t read it until *after* the election?? I usually think shame is a terrible emotion and shouldn’t exist, but I feel like it’s appropriate for you to have some here.

Wait, what’s your goal here? You want me to commit suicide because I don’t like the Democratic Party?

And y’all think you’re so different than MAGA.

1 year ago 0 0 0 0

How exactly did I tear down the Democratic Party?

1 year ago 0 0 0 0

Gender equality, repro rights, prison abolition, good public education, antiracism written into policy, safety for immigrants, an arms embargo for Israel, a free Palestine, & a real climate change plan.

I absolutely want all of those things solved to my satisfaction & I don’t see how that’s bad.

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

And I *do* want everything solved to my satisfaction. I want a UBI, clean water, livable, accessible, free housing for everyone, food that is safe to eat. I want good public transportation, I want free, high quality healthcare for everyone. I want trans rights, an end to child marriage,

I do want to name some ways that you are 300% right tho-

I don’t want to fix the democratic party. I don’t think they are worth fixing any more than the Republican Party is. That was never my goal- stated or otherwise.

But also a healthy approach to organizing understands power dynamics and also that every role isn’t for every one. A healthy left movement makes space for all kinds of folks and knows that every person isn’t meant to run for office. If there aren’t a myriad of ways to plug in, then it’s failed.

Yeah, in a health democracy I think you let them keep running towards the right, and then create a grassroots organizing party like the @workingfamilies.org to fill in the power vacuum to the left. However we are far beyond a healthy democracy- that being said, I still very much support that party.

Also can you comment on AOC? Is she a democrat or nah?

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

Wait so when he was running for president, he wasn’t doing so as a member of the Democratic Party?

Please return to your employment, thanks.

I’m not planning on running for the DSA either- but way to deflect the point that people who are left of center that run for democratic seats are treated as though they are hostile by the Democratic Party. They are shunned and undermined specifically because the party is unwilling to change.

1 year ago 0 0 4 0

Omg liberals are *the worst* obtuse and so damned exhausting. Apparently a critique of the Dems means that people should run for a dem seat and change the party from the inside. This armchair middle management terrible advice bullshit is why no one likes you.

1 year ago 1 0 0 0

Wait, are you… still joking? With how terribly Bernie & AOC are treated you think the answer to changing the Democratic Party is to tell everyone with a critique of it to run on that party’s ticket??

I mean, this is certainly the right timeline to offer that kind of nonsense.

1 year ago 0 0 2 0

Cause holy shit you have nothing but deflection, projection and a stance that avoids accountability. If you’re a real person please do some self reflection and maybe watch a Ta-Nehasi Coates video or something.

This was in response to you specifically asking what volunteer work and politicians we support. How is it that you have no shame in asking for receipts, but when someone else does it to you it’s “playing Pokémon cards?”

The projection is real, but I honestly hope you’re a bot and not a real person.

So… you don’t know how to change the Democratic Party, but your whole shtick is telling other people to do it to shut them up so they won’t critique them? How does that get you or your community to a better outcome?

1 year ago 0 0 0 0

You: Instead of criticizing them, you can just change the dem party

Me: Bullshit. ok, how?

You: Well we’re not going to dO iT fOr YoU!!!!!

This has got to be a joke. How could you possibly be calling *anyone else* “unserious”.

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

And you’ve managed to change the dem party for the better in that same timeframe? How? In what way? Show me receipts.

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

How have you worked with this party in a way that has meaningfully changed their policy stances?

1 year ago 0 0 0 0

Change it to do what? Your response to a criticism of it was ‘go make your own party’ so what are the methods of changing the Democratic Party that you are suggesting?

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

lol, I don’t have time to post a ton cause I’m actually out here doing grass roots organizing work.

But definitely keep shitting on people who have even a moderate *much deserved* critique of the Democratic Party. That got y’all real far in the last election, so obv it’s a solid tactic, yeah?

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

I am involved with several different mutual aid & climate activist groups from Detroit to Austin & Cleveland as well as supporting a group in Chicago keep black centric education for their youth.

Your turn: where are your receipts? What are you doing to hold Dems accountable or to solve anything?

I already do organizing work and grass roots antiracist organizing and education. I did policy analysis for the Texas state house and senate and have built a solid network of people who track and alert folks of shit legislation coming down the line so they can subvert and protest.

Why would you think that people who are critiquing the Dems aren’t *also* attempting to build economies and practices outside of capitalism and colonialism??
