I fear we've reached the end times

I have noticed that they're very fond of the use of deletion, which is much less common in, say, the Guardian's cryptics. So much so that it's the first thing I look for now.
That's a very good point. I was so surprised by the books, having grown up with the TV show as a genuine family favourite. Phyllis Logan's character simply couldn't have existed within them.
Let's see what the planned reboot does with him, 40 years on. He'll need another serious tweaking...
Yeah. They haven't aged well. I got a Kindle volume of the first 4 novels for similar nostalgic reasons and didn't finish the first. His attitude to women does not improve, let's put it that way
Great that the Strait of Hormuz has reopened but I worry that, with all this news coverage, it'll become too commercialised now. Hard to see it recreating the amazing nights that those of us who were there in the early days had.
And this is why AI is still crepe. I thank you.

This paper represents a small but deeply impressive and genuinely important achievement by the much maligned British state in what is probably the most important global issue of our era.

Not just the first; the second album is fantastic too
I have two of these. Manic Street Preachers in Alcuin JCR at York Uni in 1991, a venue that held around 100 people, and Hookworms' first ever gig, supporting either Moon Duo or Wooden Shjips at the Brudenell, Leeds

I have so many great Dodgy stories; the national tour of people's living rooms, the gig in York where the venue pulled the power and they played on, acoustic, sat on the floor in the audience. They were far better than their reputation. And Mat's next band (The Yellow Moon Band) was amazing too.
Entirely anecdata, but I am one of only 2 or 3 regular Kindle users on my creative writing MA (of 16). Everyone else is physical only. Which surprised me, tbh.
[I recommended your book, obviously]
