Every now and then I'm allowed to have like...tendrils of ideas begin to form again and it's so validating after months of feeling like I'm just getting dumber and slower.
So my partner took the (home ed) kids (who I am primary caregiver of so he can work) to a special home-ed event and I've gotten SO MUCH SHIT done and like...they're only 1/2 through??? I'VE FORGOTTEN WHAT IT'S LIKE WHEN KIDS GO TO IN-PERSON SCHOOL BUT I LIKE THIS BIT QUITE A LOT. #PandemicParenting

I did ask her to stop and advised her that she needed to ask her grown ups before doing anything like that to which she agreed. When I was a baby on the internets I would basically just go OFF - constantly, to whoever, whenever. It was pathological. Now as an adult w/ decades of experience I can just disassociate while I'm writing a response, and when I return to my body I've somehow written something coherent & reasonable.
