Not sure if i'd want working more to be solution, tbh.

I don't really know the solution to it. Maybe I have to be smarter about picking my battles with the paintings. Being smarter about directing the pictures and finding ways for them to focus on my strengths.
Idk, maybe i'll manage eventually.
Until then I just smash my head against the tablet.(5/5)

On the other hand, I don't want to just become the art monkey of the project either. I could, I do have some writers helping out after all. So it'd be easy to just go hey, I'll make art for your stuff and nothing else. But that would mean relinquishing parts of it that i really enjoy doing.(4/X)

I do really love making the VN. Working together with other artists, having people enjoy the world we're making. It's lovely, truly is. But the side of my art feels off, since i came from a position where I was painting every day of the year beforehand, to now painting 30% instead. (3/X)

On top of that it feels like what time is spent painting, then involves a lot of simply retaining and refreshing what i know, while everyone else moves along and gets better over time, since they get in more time. So it also ends up feeling like I'm in a pretty stagnant position...(2/X)

Real talk for a moment though, it is one of the downsides of working on the VN. So much of art is confidence and muscle memory, and working on Conway means that a lot of my time is spent on things other than painting. Which, in turn, means whenever i do paint, it's a massive struggle... (1/X)

Just one more fix, bro.

I mean, i periodically do. When it's just too much bullshit i merge shit on a new layer. Most of the other stuff is just kept around so that i can go back for step-by-steps on patreon/subscribestar.
