I'm not a big fan of Newsom, so don't read this as a defense of him, but the diagnostic test for dyslexia looks for two main things.
If you have an elevated IQ/intellect paired with lower-than-expected reading ability, then you most likely have dyslexia. I know because I have dyslexia too.
You probably won't get a lot of love from others with what you said, but you will from me. Makes sense is the right take.
