WYAEA is honored to announce our Elementary Division Winner, Emmaline M., a gifted 3rd grader from Summit Elementary School in Casper, for her outstanding design, "Wyoming Nature". Congratulations, Emmaline! We look forward to announcing The Middle School and High School Division Winner soon.

WYAEA is honored to announce the winner of our 2025 Youth Art Month Flag contest, William S., a talented 3rd grader from Summit Elementary in Casper, for his outstanding design 'WyoPop'. He is the 3rd Elementary student to achieve this notable recognition. Congratulations William!

Bills HB100 and HB188 have been defeated In Wyoming Legislature. Amidst the current turmoil in our nation, it is reassuring to see that democracy still prevails in our republic. The voices of the people have been heard and acknowledged. While this is a victory, there is still much work to be done.

Let's make our voices heard and urge our legislators to vote no on SF188, including HB271, HB270, and other education bills that concern us.

Despite having a small Black population, Wyoming's African American community has played a vital role in shaping the state's history of equality and diversity. Let's honor this legacy by learning about our past, present, and future. Happy Black History Month, everyone.

Although I am not physically present in the classroom anymore, I will always support the exceptional educators in Wyoming. I urge you to contact your legislators, as our future depends on their decisions.
