I could not be more proud of my supervisees, Rachel and Kristin, for penning this incredible op-ed piece about increasing Auburn University's funding of the Auburn Eating Disorders Clinic: aub.ie/oyfdWL. Give it a read, it is 🔥🔥🔥
REDS laber @carterjillian.bsky.social presented her work at SEPA in NOLA this past week!

Me at 8. Years later, my dream of opening an eating disorders clinic came true. At the AEDC, we are expanding access to care & training the next generation of therapists. We have 1 MORE DAY to reach our fundraising goal. If you’re able to support/share, it truly makes a difference:

The Auburn Eating Disorders Clinic provides low-cost, evidence-based care while training future clinical psychologists. Demand remains high, with a 3+ month waitlist.

We’re excited to see this feature on our low-cost eating disorders clinic. The creation of this clinic reflects our commitment to increasing access to care for students and the broader community.

Although I wish this had happened sooner, I'm beyond grateful the protection is finally there.
If risk is similar across ‘typical’ and ‘atypical’ anorexia, then language matters. Time to shift away from labels that imply lesser severity. Congrats @laurenharris.bsky.social on this impactful paper! www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...
Excited to have the military adaptation of our interoception intervention featured in the latest APA Monitor. Check it out here (scroll to the bottom :): www.apa.org/monitor/2025...
Looks like we're going to The Hague! Congrats to REDS Labers on their acceptances for #ICED2026! @laurenharris.bsky.social @laurenpictor.bsky.social @carterjillian.bsky.social @oclancy.bsky.social
100% yes to this. I tried to get out of one by saying I couldn't do it till 1/10/26, but they were like, yeah that works.🙃
PTSD disproportionately affects service members. In an RCT, RISE—an interoception-based training—reduced PTSD symptoms indirectly by increasing acceptance of uncomfortable internal sensations.
Way to go, all!
Way to go @laurenpictor.bsky.social !
Yay for open science! Check out our recently published protocol paper for REDS Lab and @uofleatlab.bsky.social's R01, which is investigating predictors of self-injurious thoughts and behaviors in anorexia spectrum disorders.
Check out our new article on ARFID that was specifically written for kids!
