Read Rise of the Blood Ohms yesterday - you definitely put all this into practice. Like most things done well, it’s harder than it looks!
It looks awesome!
A giant mass of blogs linked to/from Explorers Design, the blog that hosted the 2025 Bloggie Awards in early 2026.
Officer: “Sensors are showing a huge mass heading this way.”
Captain: “The Bloggies 2025…”
Anyone else read Fatherfog yet?
New fairytale horror RPG from Tuesday Knight Games. Cool to see the Mothership crew take on fantasy.

Haunting! I want more tone-heavy yet legible maps like these
Vines and crystals!
Would this be a good fit for the megadungeon at the heart of a HMTW campaign?
Like HMTW Book + The Castle Automatic = Campaign?
Sounds like an alternate City Quest. Dreams and visions of this spectacular architecture, gardens, an artist-king. The thorn of a “demon lover”. I’d love to have that as an option, instead of the technological intrusion of Bastion.
Fantastic and inspiring. Makes me want to dig out Yeats and write a Myth about something “slouching towards [the Seat of Power] to be born”. Any more of these in your drafts?
Running or planning a Mythic Bastionland campaign? Here are six Sea Myths for you.

How I feel getting paired against @jdragsky.bsky.social in the first round of The Bloggies:
😂 My kids' box of kinetic sand now lives on top of the refrigerator. I think they've finally forgotten it exists.
😂 I've made so many design drafts that are like, "The game is a conversation. The Referee describes a situation and the Players respond. They may roll dice." But where's the game??
I think Mythic Bastionland is onto something where the game = the setting = the content + lots of Ref guidance.
Been thinking about @explorersdesign.bsky.social's recent post ("Against Dominant Mechanics") and what we can strip away to maximize the RPG experience.
Yes, there's a backhoe in this.
This stuff is INCREDIBLE
@prismaticwasteland.com O Ostrich Lord, you inspired another Blogwagon. Let's see your Rule of Three.
The new Bastionland Podcast series is so good. I was daydreaming about my own "rule of three" and thought: why not make a blogpost about it? And why not make it thing?
Join the blogwagon! What's your Rule of Three?

Thanks for saying so. A Pattern Language is one of my favorite books— this vision of what life can be. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it in my OSR feed. Such a great idea.
Please do! It might be obvious, but the patterns I reference at the bottom don’t exist yet. Something for me or others to write.
You've started something, you mad wizard. My contribution is below.

@sean.tuesdayknightgames.com I’m starting a small business (non-RPG) and your early blog posts are rattling in my head (“Don’t wake up fucked”). Also just read Good to Great, which talks about finding your golden metric - “profit per X”. Can be anything. What might X be for a tabletop publisher?
