The picture I had yesterday of the Vivitar flash on top of the Nikon FM has been my top performing post on here yet.
A picture of a Rolleiflex at a pawn shop.
I'm at the moment in between the departing of money based on a blurry photo and receiving to see if it was too good to be true.
Trying to clear out stuff and have two other Vivitars I couldn't get going, but maybe I'll take another run at them now.
A Nikon FM with a Vivitar Auto 252 flash attached sitting on a wooden table.
Ahh, the sweet high-pitched hum of a flash that you cleaned up from battery corrosion.
Santa gave them to me.
A Minolta Alpha 7 with 85mm and flash.
Doing a little volunteer PR work today and got a few pics in w/HP5.
A Minolta Alpha 7, nee Maxxum, with 85mm 1.4 lens sitting on a wood table.
Seller made me an offer I couldn't refuse on the big glass. #believeinfilm

A Metz SCA 3902 flash adapter for Hasselblad.
This dumb thing is hard to find, but it will give me some ttl flash on the H1. (I mean using a flash maker that has gone out of business.)
A 120 roll of Kodak Portra 400VC and 35mm Kodak Gold sitting in a plastic bag.
Two rolls in three months? Yikes.
It's pretty sharp! I especially enjoy it with color film and it gives you just a little more contrast. Having SSM is nice, too.
A picture of a Minolta Alpha 7 in hand with a Zeiss 50mm 1.4 Planar with a host of evening primrose in the background.
Finishing up a roll of 24-exposure Gold and getting a neighbor's yard of evening primrose.
A screenshot of a UPS delivery that says, "A signature is required for package delivery."
Guys, it was $26.
Go over to Europe and you get all fancy. Are you wearing a beret and ascot now, too?
A Hasselblad H3D on a tripod with me and a Louisiana Iris.
Tried to get a Louisiana iris picture but it got breezy.
I've only shot it on 6x9, but some people in the old forums say it may. I'll slap it on something and see.
Oh yeah. I have the 105/3.7 sibling and it's great.
Don't even have to pay a consultant.
A blurb from old Kodak material that describes the Porta lens. Which was a close-up adapter lenses like the Rolleinar.
So, wait. Ektar AND Portra were names from Kodak lenses? You learn something new every day.
A picture of a street in Los Angeles, California. You can see palm trees lining the street and a building that says Equitable in the background. The picture is in color.
Another one from the old-timers' club. At first, I thought it was the Mamiya 7 from a different trip, but this is the busted Pentacon Six that only correctly focused at infinity and a Biometar. So, lesson here is save your money, buy a Pentacon.
A headless angel in Demopolis, Ala. Expired film. An old mansion sits in the background.
Going back through some scans I ignored. I have no idea the camera or film other than it was expired. But, it was taken in Demopolis, Ala.
Thanks! There are a few of us in this club/cult. ๐
It does! I wanted it for outdoor portraits and when I saw that feature, I thought it was pretty clever. We'll see if it works in practice, though.
Minolta Maxxum 7 shown with a Zeiss 50mm 1.4 and a Sony HVL-F58AM flash.
There's a camera in there somewhere. Finally got a flash today for the Maxxum 7.
That C/Y mount version was the one that made me love it.
Two people at an overlook in California. The waves are crashing over rocks. Flare comes into the picture. Sand is in the foreground.
One from the archives that I never even bothered editing. Back in the early days, when I was like, yes, let's point the camera straight at the sun and see what happens. This was on a busted Pentacon Six and Fuji Pro 400H.
