As somebody surrounded by maga (80% in my county voted for Trump), I can say that people around me are angry about the war stuff, but FURIOUS about the Trump-Jesus picture.

That doesn't take away from all of the suffering he's caused/causing, but maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

When I was a kid, the U.S.'s record in wars was a near-universal source of pride. We were taught we never lost a war (bullshit, War of 1812). But then we lost Vietnam, lied about Iraq WMDs, lost Afghanistan.
