Two little tracked trucks, one much more rusty and beaten up
The hetetic truck, with a cross burned out with evil blood symbols over it. Fun four color french wwi camo too!
The hetetic truck bed, skulls and evil symbols
The church truck bed, a medpack, BAR, and bicycle, as well as a not burned out cross on the identifier shield
Two little tracked trucks for trench crusade designed by @bjarnidali.bsky.social. Oneβs gonna be prizing for my current campaign so I did a church one and a stolen heretic one. I really love how they came out and I will never stop with stupid french ww1 camo!

Little tracked truck with an italian ish camo, based on an italian wwi armored car with some french wwi tank camo influences. It has three machine guns a spotlight lots of barbed wire and a big dozer blade
Front 3/4 view of the same
Rear cargo area with twin lewis guns and various stowage. You can see the wood chipping which I think came out really well
The blade says ora veniam vel mori which google translate says is latin for pray for forgiveness or die
Making @bjarnidali.bsky.social tiny trucks until the financial system collapses. Went more papal assault truck with this one, love how the chipping on the bed and rust came out. The stowage was v fun with tamiya, printed, and warhammer bits

Ohhh, this is excellent, thanks for aharing! I am making more parts for the truck atm, 3d printable windshields and a crane unit will be coming this month, as well as a multi mortar system. ππ
Respoking the wheel of my 1:14 scale miniature motorcycle. I removed the printed resin spokes and used .8mm brass wire instead...
Three of my New Antioch troopers, next to the supply truck that I painted the cargo for. The crates and pallets are my own designs, while the oil barrel is from a Tamiya 1/48 kit.

I know, too many Heavy Infantry for any Antioch lists, but.....
This one is dual wielding flamers! π₯π₯
He also received some battle damage, since I figured he would be at the forefront of the action.
The flamers are a freebie from "mrjarrrrr" on Cults3D.

My first diorama of 2025 (started in October 2024), finished earlier tonight. ππ
Miniatures by Westfalia, all other components designed and built by myself.

Thanks! πππ I really enjoyed painting them. Very different designs from what I usually work on, which was nice for a change.
And there they are, the 2nd Armoured Cavalry (dismounted), defense of New Antioch, 1914.
I will definitely be painting up more infantry and engineers, as well as a Cleric for them, but this will most likely be my beginner force for games of Trench Crusade.

Thanks Tom! ππ
Today I painted the Lieutenant for my Trench Crusade warband. He is more weathered than the rest of the unit, to show his veteran status and give him a bit of backstory. I also converted his armour quite a bit, adding battle damage and changing a few of the armour parts. Good fun! π #trenchcrusade
Finally, I have a heavily armoured Lieutenant for my French TC unit. I converted this one quite a bit, adding cabling, changing the chest armour, adding battle damage and lots of gear. I may add a small banner or cloth marker to him, to imply movement of air. #trenchcrusade #grimdark #miniatures
Haha, thanks! ππ That means even more, considering that you play a competing faction. πππ
The museum has a long queue for the cabinets, so I was thrilled that they kept them on the shelves for as long as they did. ππ
I will be back over in Nottingham at some point early next year to pick everything up, and have a look at all the new crazy stuff they will nod oubt have on show. π
Have fun, those WhW trips are always magical. ππ
Almost done with my initial warband for Trench Crusade, just need to add the lieutenant now. Once they're all good to go I can add more details to them and work on the bases some more. ππ

Day five on the diorama, most of the major construction work is done. I need to replace the ground floor window, and start on the interiors, plus shutters for the windows.

My Necromunda set will always be among my favourite builds. So many tricks learned, so many good games on it. ππ
Monday: Lasercutting and assembling the MDF parts for the diorama. Sketched out some ideas for a storefront behind the two characters in the vignette.
Yesterday's work. Using Sketchup for CAD concepting and ideas.
This morning: Assembled the initial prints to see if the sizing and concept was good.
Tonight's session on the "Lewis and Rex" vignette. Testing out the roofing tiles and assembling a mockup.
Tomorrow: Milliput and detailing stage.

Here is my most recent attempt at a tiled floor. Each tile is 10x10mm. The way I designed this set, there are lots of different designs which can be combined in different ways to make varied floors. I make 5x4 tiles from #milliput at a time, in different bluestuff moulds.

Today was a fun day, as I began adding base colours to the wall section! Most parts are just lightly stuck together at this point, to get an idea for how this is going to work, but it looks like I will soon be ready to make the tile for this beast of a build. π

Tonight's bit of painting, along with the colours I used. These days I am 80-90% onto Army Painter colours, but a few Citadel and Vallejo paints are hard to beat, plus I haven't run out yet... π

I'm really starting to see the goal for this build now. Tried two different roof types and decided to go with the simpler, flat look in this case. The corrugated sheet will not go to waste though. π
Hoping to finish the stonework and maybe the texturing tonight. #miniatureterrain #diorama
What is it that makes it easy for us to see the scale of some miniatures? To me, it is about adding items that the viewer will recognize, so a board can be scaled from knowing those parts.
These telegraph poles will help tell the scale of my current terrain project. #trenchcrusade #miniaturegaming
Added texture to the castle walls with the ti foil method, and printed these sandbags by #epicbasing for the build. It's all coming together! ππ

Over the last two days, I have been redesigning the WW1 era truck STL. This short, or "Courte" version has had the cargo bed shortened by 50%, it has new tyres, lights and a different bonnet over the engine as well.
Nexr, I need to figure out how to add a tarp to the cqrgo area, before painting.
