there are two types of FFXIV expansions: “Buddhism is good” (stormblood, endwalker, dawntrail) and “Christianity is bad” (heavensward, shadowbringers). Usually they alternate, but because we just had a rare Double Buddhism Convergence Event, we can only assume 8.0 will be “Christianity is bad”
