I always feel like when Nintendo releases a new Metroid, it's just mostly throwing the fans a bone rather than expecting good sales. From what I understand, Metroid historically sells rather poorly, which is probably why used copies of Dread are still expensive...

TotK definitely made me yearn to replay BotW. I definitely enjoyed the new areas a lot, especially the underground stuff was wonderfully fun to explore, but the build mechanic just wasn't my jam and the shrines somehow felt a lot less interesting. Still a good game though.
Games will be there when you're ready to play them again at least.

Finished NieR for the first time, the original US 360 release. Well worth my time even with all the hand pain from mashing. Got to borrow a friend's XSX and the improvements to the framerate and load times were phenominally good. Only downside is that the loading screen lore goes by too fast now lol
Yeah, it's funny that way. I really love browsing the swath of １円 auctions because sometimes you'll just strike gold on an amazing deal. I once got a PC-9821AP3 that was fully recapped for under 5000円! Shipping definitely made up for the rest of it though lol

I love this game so much. I used to speedrun it for a while because it hit that sweet spot for me in length of run and difficulty along with just having a really nice soundtrack to jam along with.
