Lots going on tomorrow. Christmas jumper day, Christmas lunch and our family Christmas Market in the afternoon. Doors open 1.30pm.

We had a great afternoon on our book hunt 📚📖

We explored our snack, making faces. H ‘I made a sad face’ M ‘I did a happy one’ R ‘I made a O face’. We spoke about what else we could make into faces and chose pizza. We created a shopping list with ingredients we could use for facial features. H ‘sweetcorn for eyes’ M ‘we need cheese’

We enjoyed tasting our yummy soup we helped to make this afternoon. We talked about the ingredients that were in it and if we liked it or not. Some children had more than one bowl! Nadine was so happy to see lots of lovely interactions at the table as she had some soup with us 🥣❄️🤍

We’ve been reading The Three Billy Goats Gruff. We didn’t want the Troll to be hungry so we fed him some porridge instead of goat! We’ve been using our imagination loads this week pretending to be the troll and the goats and building bridges.

We enjoyed taking part in the book swap today 📖

We have been exploring oats in the art area and discussing the different sizes of bowls and spoons. We were able to retell parts of our new story of the moment Goldilocks and the three bears. E”daddy bears bowl is big” K “Goldilocks ate baby bears porridge”

We had great fun with Nicole yesterday at Bookbug! Our favourite part was the shiny lycra! Thank you to one of our parents for joining us. Hopefully more families are able to join us next week 😊 please speak with Nadine or Nicole if you have any questions 🎶📖

We had so much fun yesterday doing large firework painting in the art area. We discussed the sound fireworks make and the different colours and shapes we had seen as we watched videos of them on the iPad. We can’t wait to display it on our wall 🎆 ❤️

We explored skeletons of the human body and learned names of the bones and what they protected in our bodies H ‘our brain is in there’, we learned our ribs protect our heart. We compared them to dinosaur bones and noticed we have the same amount of toes as dinosaurs. M ‘5, Nadine it’s the same’
