I don't like tea, or milk. Or cinnamon.

Unfortunately that isn't quite how the law works. There is a thing called 'coming to the nuisance', but it isn't a universal defence. Motorsport venues have to deal with the same thing all the time - a hundred years of use, and then some tit moves in nearby and starts complaining about the noise...
You're not blockading the Strait of Hormuz, I am!

Lean into it. You could watch Threads before the power goes out forever.
Alas, it won't.
So. Much. Walking.
Only downside is I seem to have ended up in Putney on Boat Race weekend. Five minutes walking past the boathouses and I'm ready to subscribe to Class War.
Another empty day, another river walked. This time, because it starts about half a mile from my house. the Beverley Brook, from Worcester Park to Barnes.
Or between jobs. M's only been off a couple of weeks and she's completely lost track of what day it is.
Fuck knows. Pre-paying for the toilets?
A screenshot from the ticketmaster website showing a £37 ticket costing £50 after fees are added.
What is all this bullshit? #ticketmaster
I think it was Alan Johnson who said it damages anyone who gets the job, and he'd know.
Don't think I do, no.
I found PW proper icky when I rewatched it not so long ago. Though not as much as Sleepless in Seattle, which was more creepy stalker horror than charming romcom. It was like one of those spoof trailer re-edits that turns the film upside down, but it was the same film, same edit.
Cheaper than buying Rizlas.
Oh, I thought it was obvious enough not to need any.
We've been keeping those artifacts safe for centuries, and running an empire wasn't cheap. Only fair to let johnny-foreigner contribute to the costs.
Giving the first episode of SNL UK a go, and pleasantly surprised by the cold open. A promising start...

Put some fresh fuel in the KTM this afternoon, fired it up, and felt a big grin spread across my face. Season starts next weekend. 🏍️🏍️🏁😀
Catching up on #mafsau (which I swore I'd never watch again, yet here we are...) and nicking month-old memes from Reddit like any decent person.
Two days later I went to the local post office. It had a counter at the end, one wall of stationery and two full walls of booze. It really did feel good to be back.
I remember the first time I got back from Australia. Early one November. It was about five degrees, the sky was slate grey, and there was that kind of light, fine drizzle that almost moves upwards. And all I could think was "I've missed this".
Yes, but the UB40 version was clearly the one the OP had in mind, during the late-80s reign of chart terror.
You make a fair point. Fwiw I'd rather put my cock in a vice than ever hear Lisa Stansfield ever again too.
Wasn't that UB40?
You read the whole newsletter? All of it? Man, how it must be to be retired with THAT much time on your hands...
Well, yeah, but they can only give the award for the film that's available to be nominated. Just imagine if they'd held back and ended up doing it for The Irishman.
