The question, as always with Trump, is NOT, "Is it illegal?"

The question is this: who will STOP him?

Asking whether or not it is legal is about 12 steps behind with Trump. Who will enforce this? What are the consequences to everyday people?

Or are there not enough very wealthy millennials to help answer this? Is this generational, or is wealth’s power to corrupt impervious to overall shifts in a population’s values?

Ask any millennial what they would do with significant wealth, and you are likely to hear about their desire to help, to make life easier for the people they love. At what realized dollar amount does that die? Do we only dream of goodness when it’s unattainable?

Thank you for the explanation! That makes perfect sense and I’ll adjust the terms I use appropriately. I appreciate the knowledge share. Especially as a late-diagnosed and initially self-diagnosed ND, I’ve learned the most about diverse neurotypes, and about myself, from the community.

I shifted to using the term “neurodiverse” instead of “neurodivergent” in an attempt to reject the idea of a “normal/default” neurotype. But understanding that the term is a socio-political identity gives reason to call out the assumed and systemically-established normality of neurotypicality.

Because they’re Black, they must be looting? This isn’t an honest mistake.

Spread truth, not lies: These folks weren’t looters. This footage is from KTLA, where the homeowner explained that her brothers & friends were helping her move belongings out of her burned house.

Since a lot of people are posting about it I'm going to share why I decided to discontinue using Meta's apps. I don't think everyone needs to or can do this, but I think it's maybe a good idea to start attempting alternatives if you have the freedom & time to do so. We don't have to accept dystopia.

Hey y'all, here's how to make BlueSky require alt text on your images so you don't forget, and also enable the option to show larger alt text buttons on images if needed.

Alt text is an accessibility tool to describe visual media to blind and low vision people. You should always use it. 💜

The first rule of political journalism is that Democrats are to be judged by outliers and positions they don’t endorse while Republicans, no matter how extreme, are painted as resonable moderates who are just channelling the righteous anger of the working-class.

A small watercolor painting of a horrified looking cartoon dumpling.

A small watercolor painting of a horrified looking cartoon dumpling.

My phone just auto corrected "trauma dumping" to "trauma dumpling," so I painted this in case anyone would like a visual of my mental state.

How's everyone else doing?
