People losing faith in Slot is so silly at this point.
This man is doing a rebuild this season and dealing with a team managing through grief from losing loved ones.
I have no doubt he will find a way through. Let’s take a moment to remember what YNWA means.

Final whistle in Madrid and all the celebrations that followed. Don’t know how many times I just rewatched, but skipped most of the match. 🤩🏆
Long season to go, new territory for this team and manager. It was always going to be bumpy this time. Come on you reds!! #LFC #YNWA #Redsky #Forever20
Of course, letting it all out online is part of the release of frustrations for fans, so I get it. Hope all frustrated reds can take a moment and cut the team and manager some slack. Anyone who loves and supports Liverpool FC is an extremely lucky football fan. Imagine supporting anyone else?
Seeing some of the reactions to losses and performances this season, I can only assume many have struggled to accept the reality of what a transition means, what it means to lose a friend, and that footballers are humans. Absolutely crazy to see nuclear responses to Slot getting some things wrong.
There’s been so much upheaval at the club that it’s little wonder we’re looking like a team of strangers. We’re dealing with the usual stuff like integrating new players & new tactics as well as a new assistant manager.
And the thing we simply can’t ignore, nor know the impact of, is Jota’s passing
In a way, we’ve got half the team trying to get used to a new environment, & a new league, or country. The other half have suffered the loss of a close colleague & friend.
It’s a very, very difficult situation, & it’s probably only time that will resolve it all. Not tactics.
I guess what I’m mainly trying to say (& mainly to myself here!) is that a bit more than your run of the mill support for the lads is required in these quite exceptional circumstances. A bit more patience, acceptance, & understanding is needed.
I don’t like to see us lose or look crap, but time…
For all Liverpool fans that don’t get it & are knobheads let’s make it simple: we won the league last season; this is the transition season, not last season - we have bought half of a new team all at the same time; Diogo Jota’s death has had a massive impact on our players 🤷♂️
This year was going to be tough. We knew this. The loss of Diogo was bound to impact player far into the season.
The new players are also coming into that environment. It’s not as easy as some teambuilding and training.
It’s going to take time… give them some grace and love.

We have played the teams that are 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th, plus at Newcastle and vs Everton which are always tough. Even without the giant summer turnover, 15 points from these 7 games is an excellent return, even if the performances have been shaky. Can only get better as the season progresses. 🙌
😂
Oh timely!! I see. Makes sense, but always feels a harsh rule.
Ekitike made a daft choice last night, but - is there a good reason why celebrating with your shirt off is a yellow card offence? Feels a harsh one. Is there a good explanation?

Mixed fortunes for our Italian lads. So sorry for Leoni. He looked impressive last night. Wish him a speedy recovery. Conversely, delighted for Chiesa. Keep going Fede - he deserves to start again!

NEW: Giovanni Leoni suffers torn ACL – season now over #lfc
Looking back on last night how good was Gravenberch? He was doing stuff that had me going "ah here" out loud. I don't understand anyone who questions his role in the team or his importance. He's a wonderful footballer going both ways imo and they are rare enough these days
I heard criticism of Conor Bradley last night for their second goal but I never heard much about him getting credit for forcing the corner for the winner 🤷♂️
Great match last night. While we did concede two, it always felt we were in control outside of those unfortunate moments.
Definitely seem to be syncing better. Looking forward to how the team keeps growing together

One year today since one of my all-time favourite footballers died. Rest easy the man with the Sicilian eyes.
Absolutely. Well said. I have been viewing our pre-season and the season so far through this lens, on top of which there are new players bedding in, and new tactics. #LFC #YNWA #Forever20 #Redsky
Crazy game! We love a late winner. Wow from Rio! #LFC #NewLiv #YNWA #Forever20 #Redsky
Same!! 😁
Me too! He could be the next Maldini!
Leoni seems to be built like Superman! #LFC #YNWA #Insidetraining #Redsky
LFC footballer Chiesa runs arms outstretched celebrating a goal in full red adidas kit at Anfield Kop End
This kit! This moment. That song! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 #LFC #YNWA #FOREVER20 #Redsky
I had so many thoughts about yesterday's game that I didn't and still don't know what to say.
It was a wonderful tribute to Diogo, all four of our forwards each contributing a goal, the songs, the tears, the win...
I miss him

We are sat on a sleeping WORLD CLASS player in Chiesa. Always knew it, he was my favourite player in Europe prior to injury.
Class is permanent.
Chiesa should be permanent.

Seeing Mo crying at the end, while honoring our wonderful No. 20, had me in tears myself.
He's an unbelievable player, but he is modest, humble, and down to Earth. What a fantastic ambassador for our club.

Salah in tears as he's standing in front of The Kop, clapping along with the fans as they chant Diogo Jota's song.
Equally beautiful as it is heartbreaking.
