It was a super fun launch. I was honored to be among such good company. The anthology supports Milford's bursary for writers of color, so consider ordering a copy.

Same!
I had such an amazing time at #Eastercon! I met amazing people, was part of launching an anthology (Milford’s Hidden Shadows) along fantastic authors and, in general, had a blast. Thank you all who made me feel at home.

Yeees! I’m definitely coming to your SFF from Elsewhere panel. Maybe we’ll run into each other before 🤗
Do stop by and help Milford raise funds for the authors of color bursary.

On my way to #EasterCon. Flying between two layers of cloud, iridescence in between. Super cool.
The proceeds from the anthology go to Milford's writers of color bursary.
I'm so excited to be included in this, along awesome authors such as @drfionamoore.bsky.social, @jaceybedford.bsky.social, Susan Oke, Mbozi Haimbe, and David Gullen. Join me for the launch at @easterconuk.bsky.social.

I'd like to commiserate today how much I hate going through unnecessary jet lag twice a year.
A monolithic monument in Ireland consisting of three slabs of stone that look like a doorway.
The first novel I ever wrote was inspired by the Book of Kells and Ireland's beautiful scenery. I don't know if that particular novel will ever see the light of day, but here's a throwback to a roadtrip through magical Éire. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
International Women's Day today, so I'd like to share a link to a blog post I wrote a while ago, where I talk about why I find it hard to walk alone in forests. I lost some of my autonomy that day. It's a struggle to get it back. I'm not sure I ever will.

Exactly what a writer wants to see!
It did resonate. I had a tear or two :-)

Answering "Where are you from?" is hard for me. I spent my formative years in 3 countries. I guess I inhabit my own country now, and I've borrowed English as neutral ground. Consequently, translating "Salvaged" to my mother tongue was interesting.

Sometimes the creative fuel of a writer is dissatisfaction (be it with own work or the world).
It seems the esteemed lord benefited far less from the plenty of good canings at school then he thinks. Cruelty begets cruelty.

It was quite a lot of rethinking 😝

I'm so honored my story "Contraction" is out in @turnandwork.com.
I wrote these words a few years back when I was still flabbergasted with the fundamental shift in perspective parenthood is.
Check it out. It's free to read.
