Is it Bandcamp Friday? Is it?

bandcamp friday - the day bandcamp waives their revenue share and all the funds go directly to artists/labels - starts in 8hrs

Consider directly supporting your favourite musicians via bandcamp rather than a mega corporation that rips them off and invests in military tech

Now, instead of being able to access this medication for ~$7, I will have to pay $70, or play the game of trying to access a different ADHD medication that may or may not work well for me.

This sucks man.

Apparently there has been no change to the rules, but I can only assume the Authority haven’t been checking this requirement until recently, otherwise how have I been accessing the PBS rate all this time?

I have been prescribed a particular ADHD medication for over a year and have consistently been prescribed it at the PBS reduced rate. Today trying to get a repeat, GP was told by Services Australia Telephone Authority service that only patients who were diagnosed ADHD <18 are eligible for PBS rate.

Social cohesion Australia is fraying. Not because of immigration. Social cohesion is eroding because of increasing inequality. Fear results. Hope must be restored for social cohesion to build. But hope is dead if uncertainty reigns. Uncertainty ends when the future feels assured.

The ABC would have turfed out and prostrated itself before Senate Committees and News Corp columnists if a senior manager or journalist was so closely connected with Labor or the Greens.

But a completely different standard for the big boss.

If our economic system depends on 4.5% unemployment....

...then perhaps we should increase JobSeeker to a living wage??

Otherwise we're condemning 900,000 Australians to poverty...

Fair Work Commision finds union unfairly negotiating with Woolworths and picket lines 'unlawful' as strikes continue Woolworths has won its bid against the United Workers Union, with the Fair Work Commission finding the union has been unfairly negotiating with the supermarket giant.

Shame on the Fair Work Commission!! 🀬🀬🀬

It's so disgusting how limited we unionists are with what industrial action we can do in this country. And how we have to beg to do it at all!

This is one of the most egregious misuses of the Committee system I've ever seen. 24 hours to make submissions on an incredibly legally, technically and morally complex piece of legislation and the Committee wants less than TWO PAGES PER SUB.

Just skip the inquiry if you don't want to listen!
