I kinda agree but not completely in terms of the subjectivity of review scores & where it is coming from. I will probably not trust a 6/10 review score if a review says there is "too much water" on a game w/ water (the joke writes itself) or there are too many arenas and killing in a boomer shooter.

Also has more room to experiment; have played a number of FPS that is integrated in the roguelite/action rogeulike genre. Good examples are VOID/Breaker, Holy Shoot, Deadzone Rogue, Jump Space, and Forgive Me Father to name a few.

I would add on top of that is that it IS the modern AAA game space that has been doing that. We have seen more evolution and growth in the indie game space. Although they lack the shone of AAA, they do have the heart and creativity.

And you're welcome Nintendo fanboys and wider Switch community; can you imagine if people didn't push back against Nintendo's up to a $90 variable or dynamic pricing model, you could've gotten this game at $90 on a game key card. It's a good sign but keep on pushing back.

Every time I see the comment Capcom should have gotten a Western consultant to avoid this marketing problem for Pragmata, this is what I see and wouldn't be surprised if they are on board with this particular type of extortion racket.

They did but for a mobile game, Ever Crisis, which will eventually gets shutdown lie any Square Enix mobile game; but I get your point. Looks good specially for us who grew up with it and fellow old soul. Can't say the same for their target audience though.

Rather than grounded conversations or a ground to meet halfway; their playbook to convince people is by force; through intimidation and shaming. That's a "nice" attempt if their opponents are pushovers

If right from the start the person who wants to engage with you is already a vile creature; all discourse are already pointless. In the end, they feel trap in their own individual echo chambers singing to their choir.

These kinds of dishonest and extreme positioning leave little to no wiggle room for nuances or engaging or meaningful conversations. Then the individuals engage with it acts surprise that nobody pays them no mind as why would anyone?
