New job is fucking up my social life and hobbies lol. I work 2pm-11pm and then all I want to do the rest of the time is sleep. Planned to finish the next chapter of F2 today since it was my first day off in 2 wks and then woke up to a power outage that lasted all day. FML.
Started a new job today and missed half my lunch hour and didn't get to leave until 1120pm, only to get home and AO3 is down. I do not love any of this for me

A brown rug with lines from the steam cleaner that I borrowed from my sister six months ago and never got around to using until yesterday when I needed to write chapter 6 of a fic I'm supposed to working on.
A dishwasher that my apartment complex tried to gaslight me into thinking just needed a cleaning tablet when I knew for a fact the filter was clogged. The inter mechanisms are removed and are resting on the open door. On the floor next to it is a black stool with white polka dots and a bunch of Craftman brand tools in red and block cases that my ex bf said I was never going to use and I shouldn't waste my money on them. Not pictured: my triumphant face as I fixed it. Also not pictured: a fucking unnecessary cleaning tablet
I thought I reached a new level of avoidance with writing when I steam cleaned the carpet in my office but then I just took apart the inside of my dishwasher so yeah. That's where we're at.
Just finished touching up chapters 3-5. Chapter 6 is going to be so long, I feel it in my bones.
This makes me feel a lot better about that xfiles scrapbook I made in the late 90s/early 00s.
