Happy to place 2nd female at the Old Six Day track ultra. I lost a 20-mile lead after the dreaded lateral lean took over on day 5.
I persisted, & persevered & collected 963 laps/239.06 miles, 2.45 miles behind first place fellow female finisher.
Ultra no. 42 at age 67 ✅ 😊

This bright bluebird stopped by our glass patio table and made a cloudy day beautiful, made me smile, and posed long enough for to me to capture it in my phone camera. And then it flew away, because that’s what birds do. 😊
