He no longer trusts peanut butter.

Also noteworthy — these are chewable pills. Half the time, he’ll eat them like a treat. Other times, he decides to be the most stubborn animal I’ve met in my life.

It’s a game to figure out how to get my dog to eat his meds, as he has an incredible ability to find them and spit them out.

Today’s winner was a bagel with extra cream cheese. The sausage, bacon grease, and chicken combo somehow didn’t work.

Turns out that we’re on the same antibiotic, though his dosage is triple what I’m taking.

Thank you! Slower recovery for him, but it seems we’re in the clear.

Me: “So if I get the rabies shot, am I immune for a bit?”

Girlfriend: “You’re not petting a raccoon.”

Crushing my dreams.

Because I got in the middle of the scuffle to free my dog and ended up getting a bite myself, I get to have my own rabies shot. That’s kind of fun.

Because my dog was attacked by another dog on the sidewalk tonight, it looks like I’ll be spending a large part of the night at the emergency vet.

Never in my life would I have dreamed about IU with a Big Ten title. I don't know what to do with my hands. Or my voice.
