Sick of people framing all this as "what about when they hit back?"
If it were guaranteed they would never retaliate, I would still not want this for them. No civilian population in the world deserves what's being done to Tehran, to Gaza.
No, not the one that reflexively jumped to your mind. None.
Fair!
I dunno, this all worked out pretty great for Kudelia and McGillis.

This 30-year-old transgender man, who can’t swim, jumped into Lake Michigan after a wind gust blew a baby in a stroller into the freezing water.
He’s being called a hero. But now he has medical expenses, and people are donating to a fundraiser to support him.

A graphic featuring a banner image of the members of queer Portland magical girl rock band Magica Riot - Sara (Riot Red), Claire (Riot Purple), Nova (Riot Blue), Cass (Riot Yellow), and Hana (Riot Green), standing in the waterfront park in downtown Portland amid the cherry blossoms. Below them, artwork for the two main novels - Magica Riot and Magica Riot: Full Bloom - are arranged side-by-side. “Magica Riot” features a purple color scheme and Claire posing dramatically amid purple clouds and the outline of the St. Johns Bridge in Portland, while “Full Bloom” features characters Iris and Bloom laying on orange rain lilies while touching fingertips. Text on the graphic reads: “Read the adventures of Portland’s queer magical girl rock band. Trans protagonist, music-based magic, useless lesbians, thrilling action, found family energy, modern-day Portland. Recommended if you like: Sailor Moon, Symphogear, Pretty Cure, Power Rangers."

Most milquetoast person you know makes an OK point.
I like it. The pre-made squaddies are similar to how the WOTC resistance heroes play, and the game asks some good questions in a relatively short and shallow campaign that I really hope we’ll see XCOM3 try to answer.
What’s so weird about men in power is how when they face scandal and should step down the world acts like no one else can do their jobs. Bottstein, Wasserman, these aren’t irreplaceable men! Stop with this delusion.
Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
Does it hold a good edge?
Change your gender, become a poet, catapult yourself into the sun. There are no rules. You can do anything you want.
I get it. God I get it. But we can’t pour from an empty cup, either. Sometimes we need to just rest and recharge before stuff starts to break.
