Very little if anything seems to have changed on the ground. ICE is still out there terrorizing neighborhoods and trying to disappear neighbors. None of us on the ground are buying this bullshit. We will keep organizing and fighting.

At first I thought that was in line with the demands that advocates have been pushing, but “CBP stays at the border” actually is NOT the same as “CBP out of cities.” NYC and Boston are “at the border.” LA and San Francisco are “at the border.” Chicago and Detroit are “at the border.”

Abolish ICE. Destroy their weapons and melt down their equipment. Deny their agents, employees, and bosses all government employment for all time. Remove the agency entirely from the budget and give the money to public libraries and free health care.
