"I am concerned about Pela's Baseball Racoon doujins" is a sentence I wrote tonight and other living humans actually understood what I meant.

EXTREMELY confident that that is not a sequence of words that has ever been constructed until now.

Hey @microsoft.com, we're going to need to have a word about your color coding of weather advisories in your default app.

"The President and his top diplomat are at a cage fighting match in Miami while his inexperienced VP and son are overseas trying to end the US' most consequential war in a generation" is a pretty good encapsulation of the whole administration top to bottom.

Joke's on you, Severe Thunderstorm Warning. You can't use wind to damage trees very well because there are no leaves yet! Also wtf why are there severe thunderstorms?

You know what would be GREAT tracks for strategic energy-saving and overtaking with an OT line just before start/finish? Istanbul and Sepang... *COUGHCOUGHCOUGH* #F1 #JapaneseGP

Austria could if you moved the OT line to just before turn 3. Silverstone I'd move it to the entry of Copse. Vegas I'd move it to the end of the Strip.

Shanghai/Suzuka have a format of overtake chance > quick OT line > immediate overtake chance, so the switching back is easier. Most tracks do not have this. Others with? Bahrain(sigh), Canada, Silverstone, Monza, Spa, Baku (sorta), Vegas.

Suggestion to the FIA-- Reconsider the OT line always just being before start/finish. It's only looked fun the past 2 races because there's been an overtaking point going into turn 1 where you're deploying heavily anyway. Miami does not have that.

Another fun podium combination! Where the fuck did this Mclaren come from? My concerns were unfounded--this track was more entertaining with this ruleset. 7 teams with points again. Lewis' still got it even if he got shuffled back. Max on suicide watch. Holy shit Fernando finished.

Lewis is dead meat without OT mode and drops a position to George after just a lap. Want to know what the difference in energy allowance means? That.

That is NOT somewhere where you should be running fully dry, so I don't know if something went wrong.

Russell goes into fast triple-blink mode, meaning total electric depletion. Leclerc gladly takes the place.

lmao, Albon is radioing advice for Sainz via the pit wall on how to better defend.

Dammit commentary, have some cajones and blame Donald Trump for 2 rounds being cancelled. It's 1:1.

Between the SC lines so long as the person on track follows their delta to the end, as far as the computer's concerned it's open racing with everyone in the pit lane. So it's legal.

Hamilton was overtaken by Russell for position technically on track but it's before the SC line so it's legal as far as I know.

Aah, season's first race lead change from a SC pitstop.

Mercedes on boost still patently absurd. They have the same peak power as the others, promise!

Clip played of why we have a delay... a Porsche got shoved aside at the hairpin, then decided to punt the offender literally up and over the barrier and fence at turn 12. My goodness.

It's almost race time! Merc is likely inevitable. Even if Ferrari get a huge start, they will get overtaken on the back straight. I'd expect 1 to disappear down the road on the first lap.
We know little of race pace on mediums but order was Merc > Ferrari > Mclaren on Friday.

Well, Merc didn't take pole by as much as I expected, and kudos to Mclaren for piecing ... something together from somewhere. That Ferrari is allllmost as fast as the Merc but it seems virtually impossible to piece together everything at once. The Merc just -works-.

Yeah the situation from practice is finally playing out. Mercedes murders the snot out of everyone else on the back straight by nearly half a second. Best first sector out of Ferrari means nothing vs all that deploy.

You can call me a horrible person if you want, but Max needs to eat some humble pie at this point in his career to mature a bit.

Not on my bingo card:
1) Audi. The fuck? You can't even say it's their clever active aero here since it's barely on.
2) Cadillac is not the worst team by round 3.

As we come up to qualy where Mercedes should take it by at least half a second, dear reader, you may wonder where they're gaining all that time over Ferrari. In traction zones, almost exclusively. Out of the hairpin and out of Spoon. 3 tenths each spot. It's obscene.

Close FP1! Was expecting a lot more spread than this. The biggest difference at the front currently seems to be that Mercedes is dumping its battery early in the lap and the others are holding onto it.

My next worry does seem to be a thing. Dunlop/Degner 1 are a bit slow. The cars need to have batteries entirely full at that point in the track with so much full throttle the second half of the lap.

New issue-- too much load on the front of the cars at a corner entry is squashing the floors. Not many turns this fast. This, Silverstone, and Spa, maybe.
What's that? Those are coincidentally the best 3 tracks of the year? Go figure. #F1 #JapaneseGP

My first concern about this track seems to be a non-issue... I was concerned 130R would be really slow. It is in fact faster, since you're arriving after active aero in a zone where we never had DRS.
