It says 500 Ma here, on Google it says that the model 2 uses a minimum of 850. So could that be the problem, if so that's a relief for me? or are there different model 2s with different power necessities?

the genesis model 2. power supplies for these aren't readily available where I live. best bet would be to import one from China.

cutting parts of it. I did buy a new power plug online but it came at the wrong size so it doesn't fit the genesis. I thought maybe I could have someone solder the old plug's barrel to this one? Assuming that might be the problem in the first place. I would like to avoid messing with the (contd.)

@fenriswolfretro.bsky.social Hiya, so I said I had a question on your YT. See when I try to run the genesis the screen is very shakey like so and even crashed once. I believe it has to do with the power plug as it is quite damaged and wasn't working at all until my dad shortened the wire by (contd.)
