- 12 months is the maximum duration of the review. Gov should deliver before then. Every day, women & children are being harmed
- Withdrawal of consent must be possible for all at any time
- Final regulations must ensure swift enforcement

This amendment will deliver justice for survivors. We want to thank the survivors who bravely shared their experiences with Parliament and called for this change.

The House of Lords has voted to adopt critical safeguards on p*rnography websites: age & permission verification and the right to withdraw consent

The APPG has long called for this change to combat abuse and exploitation rampant on these sites 🧵

👉 The focus now is to ensure Government delivers a robust framework that is properly enforced.

Ministers to ban violent and degrading pornography online The ban will include content depicting acts such as rape and incest, bringing websites in line with pornographic videos sold in shops

Government has pledged to equalise regulation of p*rnography online and offline, boosting controls on websites which freely peddle violence & abuse.
