Leaving the early game out to dry. It's the first impression for every new player, it's where players are at the highest risk of quitting, yet the early game is almost always the most outdated, bloated, inaccessible, unpolished, and boring part of the game.

I'm actually curious how many people noticed that this line is ripped word for word from what Anita Sarkeesian said 10+ years prior. It's a great reference and genuinely shows how far games critique has come, despite all the fallout and everything.
