I know people who did conventions in the 60s/70s and they weren’t as hateful as you’re excusing here.

"You keep arguing against common sense"

Yes, you do not understand what that phrase means and how little use it is when understanding the fundamentals of reality and existence for people outside your head.

"and I'm favor of graffitiing libraries "

You're gibbering at this point.

and that's really it, a hollow system of feel goods and moral justification to feel others are your enemy because they don't acknowledge your brilliance for repeating "common sense" catchphrases.

"everyone knows" that something that isn't true is true, because I read a book once in middle-school (but never since!)

it's a lot easier to be a moral supremacist if you stop growing in your twenties and never reconcile what you were told with the failures of systems to maintain the ideals.

instead the systems become your ideals, and anyone who exists outside of them is compromising morality and "common sense"

"Clown world"
"People who disagree with me haven't read books"
"Common sense is real and I have it and people who disagree with me don't"

This is all worthless rhetoric and come on with the trying to appear learned by handwaving to books you can't cite and haven't read.

Thank you for that insight.

Monterey Park becomes the first city in California to ban "all data centers within city limits" Residents of the small enclave east of LA not only killed their city's proposed 250,000 square foot data center, they pushed city council to ban them altogether

Last night, after an hours-long public hearing, Monterey Park became the first city in California to pass an ordinance permanently banning data centers.

The city council voted unanimously to declare data centers a public nuisance, and to "prohibit all data centers within city limits."

*learn from

You do not understand how you are choosing to view the world through one single lens that has not changed fundamentally since you were a child, without (assumedly) decades of experience and systemic failures to lean from.

"The option to learn and practice common sense"

This is a meaningless phrase

thought terminating phrases like "common sense" are you being fundamentally disengaged with material conditions for everyone else living in the United States.

and yet you're still doing this dance

a child with ideals hears "this is how it works"
an adult with a child's mindset and only sanctimony in the moment yells "THIS IS HOW IT WORKS"

"informed citizens"

Can you define what an "informed citizen" is and how it materially changes the world without reverting to middle school civics course magical thinking?

Nevada police may be tracking your phone's location without a warrant. Here's how. Nevada quietly signed an agreement earlier this year with a company that collects location data from cellphones, allowing police to track a device virtually in real time — all without a warrant.

“Because of the contract’s low price tag (about $12,000 per year), it appears to have eluded public discussion. It only needed to be signed off by a state clerk, circumventing the typical approval process for major contracts that require sign-off from the governor, Secretary of State,” and the AG.
