The Baka Neko. One of a kind, and an amazing companion for a long time. I miss you buddy.
March 2007 - June 2025
Yeah, Starship truly impressed me…at first. Then it was delay after delay, failure after failure. It’s extremely obvious that Tom Mueller was the catalyst behind all of SpaceX’s actual success.
The Cosmonaut Series is an alternate history based near future fiction series, set in the late 2040s, decades after the Soviets won the Space Race and Cold War. Inspired by the Expanse, Interstellar, and the Martian, if this sounds like its for you, check it out here!

Yeah, this came up in my Facebook memories—two years after the original two year reminder. (Which was nice, since I axed my Twitter account)
Still alive. 🤷♂️ #covidvaccine
Excellent!
Well darn.
That sounds like a job for 7-zip.
I have passed up my total #TearsoftheKingsom playtime in #NoMansSky, and am still finding new and interesting things.
Some parts of it are definitely repetitive/predictable but those just become familiar. The planets themselves are based on sets of variables that are randomly generated. I’m still finding new and exciting stuff daily.
Vast is an understatement. Without a couple of methods of fast travel, it’s nearly impossible to find a specific star system on the galactic map that isn’t adjacent to the one you’re currently in. And there are literally trillions of potential solar systems in this game.
Well. Solar panels and batteries. And a landing pad he could use. And a mineral extractor for some passive income. And access to extra storage. He thought it was great!
BUT. I was able to save his location, and use certain means to travel back there on my own game later. I built my own base just over the hill from his. With blackjack. And hookers! 3/
I played a game with my buddy the other day at his base, and he isn’t as far along as me, so his base is pretty barebones. 2/
So when you play multiplayer with someone you essentially play as a “guest” in their game. You get to keep any resources you get, but you’re temporarily at their location for that session. 1/
Yeah, I was actually really excited about it before release, then ended up passing on it completely after seeing what actually came out.
I feel that they finally delivered the promised game.
It’s seriously one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had. I absolutely adore everything about that game… except that I can’t erase my memory and play it for the first time again.
Oh you MUST. 😆
But I’ll tell you what I tell everyone else. Go in as blind as possible. Don’t even read the synopsis of the game on Steam (or whatever platform of choice)
Just start it up and play. It is best experienced knowing nothing, and once you know, you can never go back.
Of course, nothing is likely to top that first time playing Outer Wilds. Problem being that it can never be repeated. 🥲
I mostly got it to play with a friend back home, but ended up getting really into it. It’s like Morrowind meets Minecraft. In space. 😆
One of my oldest friends is playing, and we live on opposite sides of the country now, so it’s a good way to hang out a couple of times a week. But also, a fun and a bit addictive game. 😆
But then I upgraded! #nomanssky
I messed up. #nomanssky
Ok yeah. I’m a bit hooked. #nomanssky
My little man turned 18 this week. He has trouble jumping up to some of his lookout spots these days, but he still sits in my lap while I’m working or napping, and is pretty much the best company anyone could ever want.
Well… no, but that one was my favorite. 😆
I randomly thought about this silliness today.
I never found out what he was blathering on about, since he completely disappeared shortly afterwards.
