I think this might be the first time this new logo's been revealed. Drew it myself and I think it turned out quite nicely.

Yesterday @comicsbeat.bsky.social covered the upcoming, rather stunning and genuinely thrilling All New Adventures of the Trigan Empire from @mikeowencarroll.bsky.social and @tomfosterart.bsky.social (with some context editor Oliver Pickles and me). www.comicsbeat.com/interview-cr...
Oh, that’s a cracker.
Beautiful stuff. Really love the bit of Bama polish. Really shows off how well you understand the forms and gives it so much depth. Absolute cracker.
Meanwhile, there’s a reason Picard is standing up so straight.
Incredible how rarely that happens, isn’t it? I live in Glasgow and all my ones seem to be in Aberdeenshire. When I lived in Edinburgh, I think the closest I ever got was Livingston.
I feel like The Battle of Yavin from Star Wars has to be one the only big, climactic action set-pieces in movie history where all of the principle characters are either sitting down or standing still.
I did get those for a short, but concentrated burst. Mostly AI generated, I think. Then they disappeared.
Yeah, I’m starting to realise that not everyone gets the same ads anymore. These two only ever pop up when my partner’s signed into YouTube. Been going for what feels like forever though.
Okay, about time for you two to fuck off now, I think.
This May, New Adventures from the Trigan Empire: Book 1 comes out - the first new Trigan Empire story in over 40 years and my first fully-painted book. Here's a look at pencils and finished, painted art for a panel. More to come.
You can pre-order the book here:

Considering I now do almost all of my work with practical materials, it’s amazing how paralysing it feels to be without a computer. Those little intermediary digital parts of the process suddenly seem a lot more critical.
(Also the fact DPD now aren’t even showing an estimated arrival date is 🤪)
Lovely! Thank you for letting me see 😊
More film series should have an instalment where the titular character goes bananas.
More process from Young Death: Fitting In (written by @kekw-writer.bsky.social) in @2000ad.bsky.social 2465. Still in shops until tomorrow.
Really focused on the neck anatomy with Sidney. A sort of anatomical foreshadowing.
Pencils and finished coloured art for another panel of Young Death: Fitting In, written by @kekw-writer.bsky.social and out in the current issue of @2000ad.bsky.social
I'm not generally a big breaker of panel borders, but with short stories, I tend to worry less about keeping things so regimented.
Some more process work from this week's Young Death story (written by @kekw-writer.bsky.social) in @2000ad.bsky.social .
One of two or three panels in the story where I had a very specific idea of how the colour ought to look, which then dictated the palette for the rest of the page/scene.
More art breakdown from Young Death (written by @kekw-writer.bsky.social) in this week's @2000ad.bsky.social.
I often don't spend as much time on the hair as I ought to, but here it seemed unavoidable.
Thanks! I really put a lot of attention into that, to try and get it right.
Another look at the development of Young Death: Fitting In, from this week's @2000ad.bsky.social (script by @kekw-writer.bsky.social).
After spending a year painting the new Trigan Empire book, this was my first chance in a long time to focus on linework and I really enjoyed leaning into it again.
A little more process work from this week's Young Death in @2000ad.bsky.social (written by @kekw-writer.bsky.social).
I really liked how the colours came together on this one.
Prog 2465 of @2000ad.bsky.social is out today, with a Young Death Story written by @kekw-writer.bsky.social and illustrated by me. Here's a look at page 1 of the original pencils. After spending a year painting the new Trigan Empire book, it was nice to do some line art again.
Really enjoyed working on Young Death: Fitting In (written by @kekw-writer.bsky.social) for this week's @2000ad.bsky.social. Here's a detail from the original pencils, as well as the finished, colour art.

Thanks, I really enjoyed working on it. Lovely, moody script.
Thanks, and sorry I didn't tag you in the post. Didn't know your handle. I'll know for my next one 🙂
I'm back in the prog this week with a one-shot Young Death story, written by Kek-W. Got to do full art duties on this one and I think I managed to land on a colouring style that worked well. It's out this Wednesday in @2000ad.bsky.social prog no. 2465.
Centurions is a particular favourite of mine, but it’s tough to get a decent quality upload, so am holding on to get the DVDs at some point.
I feel like, 20 years ago, someone showed a bunch of advertising executives The Mighty Boosh and we’re still living with the consequences.
