It’s profoundly ignorant to suggest that the Pope should be fighting crime on behalf of the Catholic Church. Anyone who was remotely familiar with Roman Catholicism would know that that’s what Daredevil is for

the debate was nice to see, sure. but the government just went "lol, nah" and has carried on with their exterminationist agenda
have these debates ever actually done any good? It often feels like everything around government petitions exists to disenfranchise the public.
Dylan M. Taylor, a Senior DevOps Engineer at Credit Genie, pushed age verification PRs to systemd, Ubuntu, & Arch.
He collaborated with two Microsoft employees to merge it. Lennart Poettering then personally blocked the revert & allowed the PR through.
The surveillance state runs on unpaid simps.
"For educational purposes" I've created an patch for systemd that doesn't require you to lie about your age, but instead it's incapable of storing or reporting a user birthday other than Y2K.
the fact so many people in the Linux ecosystem are happy to comply in advance with borderline fascist spying laws is a bit troubling.
a significant portion of Linux users are using it to avoid this kind of constant espionage we usually see in *other* operating systems.

This ban was justified by 10 new studies that largely stated NO EVIDENCE for under 18s HRT exists.
The study underpinning this played one particular trick.
Let's briefly look at how the NHS rigged the game 1/5
the weasel word here is “good quality”. you can’t do a double-blind study if the people who get the placebo drop out because they can tell they’re obviously not getting HRT. they rely on obfuscating this

This isn’t quite correct: they also hate each other
once we get operators in public hands we mustn't let the government leave the rolling stock itself in private hands.
we will be paying billions to rent trains that were paid for by us in the first place.
under the plans as currently laid out you're unfortunately probably right.
which is surprising because nationalisation of rail is probably the easiest win the gov could have right now.
The web is only barely usable these days with an adblocker. Its profoundly depressing
I got to see Refused last night. As well as being one of my favorite artists they are directly or indirectly responsible for almost every band i listened to growing up and making the genre of post hardcore sound like it does
Needless to say it was a spectacular show.
it’s time 🧛
it certainly looks like institutional capture from someone who hasn't had to interact with it directly, I am so sorry you're being treated this way.
the UK really has shown itself to still be the backward little island it claims it have moved past eh?
ah I see, thank you for clarifying that for me, seen people describe it differently before.
My condolences for that and I hope that the appeal goes smoothly for you.
genuine question, is EHRC guidance not considered secondary legislation once made statutory?
