Earth Day arrived with wonderful light. The pair of osprey were working in unison rebuilding their nest and have apparently grown accustomed to my documenting them. Side note — not sure if you’ve ever listened to osprey communicate with one another but it is such a beautiful sound.

Currently watching the crew on Orion working their cameras, reviewing the images on their iPad, and I can’t help but think this is the most expensive photoshoot in human history.
Even if you pinch and zoom really close, you still can’t see the Orion capsule and its crew. But they’re out there, almost ready to circle and navigate the far side of the moon. 📸 for nurphoto_agency

Mute swans fight over a mate at the Fernald Nature Preserve. Mute swans are highly territorial birds that fight fiercely for mates and breeding sites, particularly during spring. Males (cobs) may battle rivals, sometimes attempting to drown them, to secure a female or defend a nesting territory. These, often lifelong, pairs will aggressively drive away intruders.

Bernie Moreno and I actually agree on something? Was it snowing yesterday because h*ll finally froze over? I can’t stand the man but glad he’s taking this stance on data center wastewater regulations in Ohio.
