Together, we raised over $600,000 for @translifeline.org this year. From the bottom of my heart, I'm so grateful. We have come together to say to our trans friends and family that they are loved and that they are not alone.

Trans rights are human rights.

When we gather together, we can make Magic.

Drawing by Fritz Schwimbeck 11–12 September 1917, pen and ink on paper.

A black-and-white image of a human-looking figure crawling away from the viewer on the roof on an old castle. The figure's black cape is waving in the air, resembling the wings of a bat. Moonlight, and dark woods in the background.

You know in movies where they kinda wipe their hand gently over the face of a dead guy and it closes their eyes. It would be a good gag if they did that on a guy with glasses. Either his eyes close or the glasses turn into sunglasses.

Old loo and evidence of murder among archaeological finds of 2025 Other finds include a Bronze Age coffin and human remains thought to belong to shipwreck victims.

Don't think I've seen this in previous years - an annual round up of #archaeology on the BBC website!

Good to see ' #treasure ' not being centre stage for once.

...also interesting to note that cash value is only mentioned in relation to the #detecting finds.

In a Finnish myth, when an arctic fox runs so fast that its bushy tail brushes the mountains, flaming sparks are cast into the heavens creating the northern lights. In fact the Finnish word "revontulet", a name for the aurora borealis or northern lights, can be translated as fire fox. So that evocative myth took on a special significance for the photographer of this northern night skyscape from Finnish Lapland near Kilpisjarvi Lake. The snowy scene is illuminated by moonlight. Saana, an iconic fell or mountain of Lapland, rises at the right in the background. But as the beautiful nothern lights danced overhead, the wild fire fox in the foreground enthusiastically ran around the photographer and his equipment, making it difficult to capture in this lucky single shot.

Extraordinary courage from Ahmed al Ahmed, a Muslim, 43-year-old father of two, who bravely risked his life to save his neighbors celebrating Hanukkah.

Praying for his full & speedy recovery.

And so deeply inspired by his example.

The Rockstar Workers Fired Before They Could Finish GTA 6
The Rockstar Workers Fired Before They Could Finish GTA 6 YouTube video by People Make Games

I went to meet the 'Rockstar 31', the developers who were suddenly fired from their work on GTA 6 for what the studio has described as gross misconduct.

That's not what the workers call it though. They have another couple of words they prefer to use: union busting.

Just in case you ever wondered what the alcohol requirements were for a 1909 Irish wake: 3 gallons whiskey, 2 cases stout, 3 bottles wine, 3 bottles brandy! The receipt was sent to the U.S. government from Liscahane, #Cork for reimbursement as it related to the death of a pensioned Civil War sailor!
