A bit more tailing here, more fronting there... and suddenly your quantitation is drifting.

There’s a great “Secrets of Science” article on iPDeA and co-elution. Fantastic examples of how good-looking peaks can still mislead you. Worth a read if you handle complex matrices. www.shimadzu-webapp.eu/magazine/iss...

One of my favourite HPLC software features is intelligent peak deconvolution (iPDeA-type tools).
Co-eluting peaks can look fine but hide serious quantitation bias. Deconvolution is like putting on “spectral glasses” to see what’s really there. #HPLC #software #chromatography
