You know what grinds my gears? People who let their dog off leash and then act surprised when their dog misbehaves. As if there was *no possible way* to anticipate this turn of events. Are these people complete morons? Do they think I am? The situation we’re now in is not the dog‘s fault.

Right but if I open a Lambrusco, I know I am opening a fizzy wine. I can make that decision for myself. In this case I am opening a still wine and instead getting a fizzy one (albeit slightly).
When a still natural wine is slightly fizzy, do you consider this a flaw?
I really thought this was Sam the Eagle
Fully cooked beans?
Forget carom, today’s wordle was a word I did not know.
My Sicilian grandmother also used it, but she also put in little meatballs. Hard to know if it was brought from Italy or added in the US though.
Anyway it seems likely to me that there is some tradition in southern Italy using ricotta that is disconnected from the northern tradition of béchamel.
Do you ever do these live? Asking for a friend.
Long conversation about when / where / why ricotta was added to lasagne. Trying to figure out if it is an American addition or a southern Italian one, or perhaps both. Ultimately it is hard to know for sure.
At least you won’t miss it
Out of curiosity, are any of my BlueSky peeps following ricotta gate on Threads?
Whats the abv?
I took my dog for a walk at a nearby trail today. While there, a guy drive up and parked. He got out of his car, walked over to the poop bag dispenser, took all of the bags out, got back in his car, and drove away.
Don’t be that guy.
My son actually said to me yesterday “is there a better website out there than archive dot org?”
Sigh. Why are we so often the worst humans we can be?
So journalists use the WM regularly to write articles for publications that are blocking the WM?
Yeah, I suppose that tracks 😩
Yes I noted a touch of tar.
Bubbles make sense because of the acidity, though the one I had was still.
PS there are some people who believe it is the same as Greco, and while I can see similarities I am not sure I’m quite on board.
I just tried it for the first time a few weeks ago. Definitely aspro!
I love this wine
Is there an updated version or re-release?
🤦♂️
Umbrian is unexpected
This was always the case here with wine to some extent, but post-covid it is truly untenable.
Who makes the best Italian sub in Minnesota?
RIP Suki Lahav. Listen to this in tribute youtu.be/gxAICDP-DLU?...

I was recently a guest (live from the airport!) on Delicious City, talking all things cheesesteak (and other Philly sandwiches)
And yet they’re still usually cheaper than American wines of similar quality 😵💫
I legit laughed out loud when Kristen asked the Top Chef contestants if any of them were wine aficionados, and the one woman awkwardly responded, “big Josh fan.” I hope she got paid for selling herself out like that.
