I would like many more NASA space missions. Let's just do that for a while. Space missions (from NASA or other government space programs in other countries) as far as the eye can see!

I would kill for Moose.
I just want to mention that 9/11 was exactly what Cheney was waiting for. He was mad that Nixon got busted for Watergate and had been wanting and planning to increase presidential powers. 9/11 gave him that chance. He started working on it around 2 hours after it happened quietly.
Absolutely! I remember when the Tiger on Last Week Tonight smashed the "We Got Him" button because Trump's campaigns and time in office have been one scandal after another. This is beyond unprecedented. She made mistakes but set against Trump, those mistakes look a lot smaller.
But if we could have pulled in people by endorsing Harris, I think that would have given us swing state numbers. It also may have deescalated some of the turns toward fascism if they were pushing things she was saying like the downpayment assistance in a heavy inflation time.
This is a valid take, I think. I think we've all tried to find one thing that went wrong and the answer is: It was many things. If we would have had more voters, it could have helped at least give Harris the popular vote which would counter Trump's "landslide" argument.
But too many use the words as a way to hurt others who are on their side for 90% of it and then don't do the work themselves. For a group that seems to want a political agenda based on everyone being equal, they seem to have a hard time with working together. 6/6
But there are three phrases that will make me twitch and I HATE it because I like their ideas. "Progressive", "Bernie", and "Gaza". Not for the words themselves but for who uses them. There are people who use them that are great and I work with them and it's fantastic! 5/6
I remember sitting in a meeting where we'd been there for over 30 minutes because they were obstructing the call and the preschool teacher was like "My kids act more grown up than this". This was all RL, btw, so they weren't bots or plants. The internet is just worse about it. 4/?
But what REALLY got me was how quickly they turned on people if they wanted a "plan" or realized that "compromise" was going to have to happen. I know a guy who is very left but they decided he betrayed them and ignore the 90% that he has in common, calling him names. 3/?
Most of the rural areas or smaller cities tended to have fewer progressives, but more volunteers. Probably because the "progressives" weren't the ones that would be hurt as much by the right. And honestly? Their tactics were often identical to the ones that the Right started after Trump 2/?
I've worked in the political sphere and "Progressives", to me, is code for "People who obstruct people doing the actual work". They didn't phone bank nor canvass, they caused problems at meetings that lessened the amount that could get done, and often lived in safe places. 1/?
I think we pulled back for obvious Trump reasons, but I think Godwin's Law needs pushed back into public discourse at this point. Not as a convo ender but as a way to force people to think if their take is realistic or not. Or at least cause the "audience" to.
I also don't think it's likely, but we're dealing with a middle eastern problem, in a recession even if they aren't calling it that, with oil prices about to sky rocket and the way it's going we may have to conserve gas... and I remember the first Reagan election. So the precedent is there.
The idea of Individualism needs to be taken out back and handled like Old Yeller. I don't mean dressing gothic or whatever, but the idea that a person should be able to survive on their own. We're a social species. We didn't evolve to work alone. And teaching it kills empathy.
Instead of spraying for mosquitos this summer, try the Mosquito Murder Bucket!
It's cheaper than paying a company and doesn't kill all of the beneficial insects in the area.

I'm not British, so I could absolutely be wrong, but I think this let's them open the door to it? Like sharing information is a way easier crime to point to than the rest of it (sadly) but they can look for more as they get evidence on the info sharing? I think. Like I said, not British.
What? Do the sensible thing? Why would they do that?
Because companies have put themselves so far in the red that there are bulls on Jupiter ready to charge them over it. So they need everyone to like it so that the massive amounts of money spent don't look like they were scammed.
Even if it goes purple, it becomes the largest battleground state which Republicans will HAVE to focus on. The Dem nominee will be able to still split their time which maybe buy them the rest of the battleground states and still win that way.
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

I'm confused. Does this person think that unions just put it in and that was that? Because there was a LOT of politics involved. And also a Depression. And a coalition that included several groups. And without voting, would have been impossible. It is complicated and messy.
Most of my Christian friends don't go to church. And some of them are pretty religious. They're just... personal about it. I only know because we are friends. People do religion differently and this guy needs to learn that.
Once again proving that AI is useless.
I thought everyone knew he adlibbed it at this point.
I just need to know: Is the person in question even Jewish? It is terrible regardless, I just want to know how annoyed I should be for you.
Yeah, okay sure. (Directed at the politician) Now he should do verbal assault leveled at customer service, nurses, caregivers, etc. I bet it is more than 8000 even if you only took the same amount of people as ICE. Funny how it's never abuse when directed at actually important jobs.
I hear you. If it wasn't for the fact that I quote Hogfather so often, I would have the same issue. All of the books are so good!
It took me a minute but I think I would go with Hogfather. Death's speech at the end represents my world view and that would carry over into politics.
Biden administration which lies with the president when it comes to power. At most, she could be like "Hey, maybe we say no" but SHE had as much power as Trump at the times because Vice Presidents cannot make that decision. As a heads up, everyone gets 2 replies and I am done. This is your 2nd.
