Me and two white friends sat on a four-seater on a train one time. I had an empty seat next to me and the train was very very busy but people kept walking past. As an experiment I told one of my friends to sit next to me to show how quickly the empty seat would be filled. It was filled IMMEDIATELY.

One of my favourite things about being black is, if presented with a choice, a certain demographic will always sit on someone else’s table on a train rather than sit with me. As a result I’ve got a table to myself in the train.
