my ref I tend to use for pose, and then make up the clothes, hair, and face.

its like how irl you would take a sponge and load it with either water or paint but digital

it's pricey and not actively in development so I cant recommend it. there is a trial version, worth poking at in that way.

I'm using 2022, but as far as I can tell they stopped development on it after 2023. private equity bought corel at some point. The interface can be crazy complex for somethings, but its not hard to learn.

I did a digital rough of this one, then printed it to the board in non photo blue and sketched and inked over it. Did this one at a Con table, so I stuck to a trusty Micron, as I had to keep setting it down.
