I love my Crying stories. Between this season of Downton and Parenthood, it was a good time back then.

I started a Downton rewatch and ugh S3, Episode Five is just great TV imho. The cast’s reactions to Sybil’s death from Thomas Barrow to Tom Branson display the shock beautifully. But Elizabeth McGovern…I’m obsessed. Tasked with finding sorrow and rage for prim Cora and feels so honest.

Ok this was quite a while ago but the TV Guide Channel (RIP) had a reality show where they had people compete to make a TV pilot and one of them managed to get her for their final product and I will always remember the judges being like “You got Joyce Freakin DeWitt???!!!”
