Well, yesterday was a long day at @ndc waterfront for #fcbd. Not only was it bumping all day but we got to spend some time with the incredible and always amazing @brianmbendis.bsky.social for a signing. He was a signing beast. Thank you all, and again a huge thank you to Brian.
WTF? Seriously? This is the guy we put in charge? This is a colossal embarrassment and just sad. He is putting the Kennedy name to shame and making the US a laughing stock.
So I’m watching the new Black Mirror episodes and all I can think is that Chris O’Dowd could totally be the next Dr. Who if they continue it after this season.

So, do we think that the MAGA crowd might finally get it when all their gear, which is not made in the US despite what they think) doubles in cost? How do they explain that away when they buy their next crimson clown crown? Asking for a friend.
Just watched Venom:the last dance. Yeah… not so good. Probably the worst of the three. Loose plot that could have really went somewhere had it just came together faster and had a better payoff. It was kind of a rehash of the first movie imho with a tease of king in black. Meh. Thanks Netflix.
I know there is a lot of division out there right now. I want you all to remember that we are all here, on earth together. We must all learn to work together even if that means putting aside differences. Working together for the common good is what America is about. Don’t forget that my friends.

How is anyone ok with Trump going after people who worked for Biden or the Biden family? Trump was just as bad if not worse about everything he did to the Biden family with slander and spreading mistrust. Vengeance is not forthcoming of a great leader. It’s petty and only things a weak leader does.
As an American who has paid attention in history and civics classes, have a problem, with a “faith” anything part of the government. The founding fathers were clear about the separation of church and state for a good reason. This will only cause problems.
I am really torn on the changes at the Kennedy Center. I personally know many people who have performed and worked there and have always spoken highly of the power of the arts it helps bring to the public. The arts are what makes people great. Embracing it. Wielding it. This does not bode well.
Mood.
Man. Another crash and this one in Pa. A child, who just got treated medically and was on their way home. I don’t know how to even process that. All that hope just stripped away. Hopefully, their families find solace in this troubling time.
So I watched the documentary “join or die” today. It’s about how as Americans stopped joining clubs and doing social things in person together, our civilization has broken apart. I believe it. The skills you learn in clubs are a huge benefit to everyone. Join or die.

What happened with last nights crash was a travesty. People lost husbands, wives, parents, children family and friends. My heart goes out to all of those who are hurting in this time of sorrow. I hope they find comfort in each other and their loved ones.
